My goal as a doula is to help every family have the birth they envision and planned for. I welcome all families that need support regardless of age, race, gender, orientation, or family dynamic. Birth matters and YOU matter. I will work for you to ensure that you feel cared for, safe, and treated with respect in the healthcare setting. I will help you find your voice and advocate for the best possible care for yourself and your newborn. Prenatal Massage can be added on for additional comfort.
Birth services include 2 prenatal visits, the birth of your baby, and one follow up visit postpartum. Along with the basic care, you will have access to ask questions, get information, and have opportunities to discuss fears, joys, and concerns surrounding your pregnancy and birth. The Birth Doula package is $950
Postpartum doula support is so important to parents, whether this is your first or your fourth child. I will be able to support you by creating a comfortable space for you to rest and bond with baby. I will support you through breastfeeding or help set up a station for bottles, whichever method works for you and baby. I can run errands for you, or help cook some meals for you and your family. Every family has a set of unique circumstances and I am here to assist you in the recovery of your birth. The postpartum package starts at $445 and includes four 3-hour visits plus one 60 Minute massage. Additional postpartum care can be added billed in three-hour increments. Additional Massage Therapy can be purchased at an additional cost if desired, or subtracted from the package. (The office is located in SE Grand Rapids)
I have a new location in Kentwood, just off 44th Street. I have a quiet and very clean meeting area for new and potential families to meet with me for interviews, as well as a peaceful massage room.
I am a passionate and caring mother, partner, and member of the LGBTQ+ community. My journey has always been caring for others. I have experienced the joy, and the difficulties of giving birth to three amazing boys. I have also experienced the grief of losing a pregnancy. I have been a Massage Therapist since 2006 when I attended The Flint School of Therapeutic Massage. I have a positive outlook on life and through this difficult year of 2020 I was able to focus on my family and my career and follow my dream of becoming a Doula in order to serve and care for others through the life altering experience of giving birth. It is my absolute joy and honor to help every family through their journey of welcoming a baby into their family.
